Introduction to Addons

Hyperdeep supports importing custom models and textures ("addons") at runtime, which you can use to extend the default set of customization options. This guide will describe the process of making addons and importing them into Hyperdeep.

Please be aware that Hyperdeep is still in active development. Some elements of this process may change in future, and new versions of the game may break existing addons.

Types of Addon

Addons are split into four categories:

Clothing

3D meshes and 2D textures used as clothing or accessories

Hair

3D hair meshes

Decals

2D images that are overlaid on HD-chan's skin material as part of character customization. Examples include:

• Tattoos
• Eyeshadow
• Lipstick

Maps

2D images, used in various ways for specific elements of HD-chan's customization. Examples include:

• Nose style
• Iris shape
• Tan style
